Gino Filippi

With roots in the historic Cucamonga Valley winegrowing appellation, Gino has long been committed to the improvement of the region and the city of his birth - its government and business life, libraries and housing, and preserving rich history.

Gino lives this commitment as an elected Upland City Council Member, business leader, community volunteer, successful preservationist and wine writer.  He was first elected in 2010, with a promise to help uproot a threat to Upland’s present and future: official corruption. As the reform candidate in that important election, Gino offered an alternative to old ways of doing business at City Hall, and he continues to do so today.

Gino serves on regional boards, commissions and task forces to advance and protect the interests of residents and business.
