PROJECT FUNDING

The Water Company has been able to utilize the “pay as you go” method of financing for capital improvement projects identified in the adopted Master Plan of Facilities.  These funds are generated by the fees and charges for capital facilities, gain from the sale of property including sale of stored water assets, and any positive balance of operations resulting from the annual service operations of the Company.  Separately, operating and maintenance expenses are funded by the shareholders’ existing commodity rates.
